Where do your prices actually come from?

Sports listing estimates use current eBay asking prices and live bids, not completed sales. Card games use public catalog price data where available, including TCGplayer data through game-specific catalogs. Check the source shown in the app; an estimate does not guarantee a sale price.

How accurate is the scanner?

Visual matching identifies most cards in one snap; when confidence is low the app shows ranked candidates instead of guessing, and scanning the card back improves tough matches. Every confirmation teaches the engine, so it gets better every day. Misread? Re-scans are always free.

Does my collection's value update over time?

Supported card-game prices can show recorded price history when snapshots are available. Sports listing estimates are not presented as value-history charts. Update timing depends on the source.

Is Rip Club an in-app purchase?

No. Rip Club is a physical monthly pack subscription billed on the web via Stripe. The app is free to download, with optional software tiers for heavy scanners.

What if my pack pulls less than I paid?

RipTrax compares what you paid with the estimated value of the cards you logged. An estimate is not a completed sale or realized profit; actual sale proceeds and selling costs can differ.
