What a vendor gets
Venue, dates, and the four costs vendors actually think in — table fee, travel, hotel, supplies — with a live break-even number as you type.
Multi-select the cards you're bringing. They hit the table priced at live market as the default sticker. Unsold? One tap files them back as brought home.
Tag every sale cash, Venmo, Zelle or card. Cash never shows up on a 1099-K — your show log is the record that keeps your year-end gross honest.
A sale recorded at the table lands in your sales records with its cost basis attached. The show P&L and your tax summary read the same rows — they can never disagree.
Vendors call a show worth rebooking when gross clears 3× the table fee. Every show gets its table-fee multiple, sell-through and profit after all costs.
Year rollups across every show, plus a CSV with every cost bucket split out. Gross, fees, costs, profit — one row per show.
How it works
Name, dates, and what it costs you — table, travel, hotel, supplies. Qosmo shows your break-even before the doors open.
Pick cards from your collection. Each one arrives priced at live market — tweak any sticker, or leave it.
Record each sale as it happens — price, payment rail, done. The card leaves your collection, the ledger updates, and the P&L moves in real time.
Questions, answered
Each show's costs (table or booth fee, travel, hotel, supplies), the cards you put on the table with their asking prices, and every sale — price, fees, payment method, and the card's cost basis. From that it computes gross, net proceeds, cash profit after show costs, profit after card costs, sell-through rate, and a table-fee multiple.
No — that's the point. Your Qosmo collection is the inventory. You pick the cards you're bringing and they're on the table, priced at live market. Other show tools make you import spreadsheets; here the scanner already did that work.
Only digital rails ever appear on a 1099-K. Cash sales are still income — your show log becomes the record that reconciles your real gross with what the forms report. Come April, that split is the number that matters.
No. Qosmo keeps clean, businesslike records — gross by payment method, cost basis on every sale, categorized show expenses, and a year-end export. How your selling is treated (hobby, investor, or dealer) is a question for a tax professional; we just make sure they have real numbers to work from.
Card Show Mode ships with the free app — setting up shows, listing cards and recording sales doesn't require a subscription. Scanning cards into your collection uses your plan's monthly scans.
Card Show Mode is in the iOS app today. The web app at qosmocollect.com/app covers scanning and collection tracking on Android; vendor features are coming there next.
