1. What Qosmo is
These terms are an agreement between you and Qosmo Marketing LLC ("Qosmo", "we", "us"), a New Jersey limited liability company. Qosmo Collect is a brand of that company. "You" is the person using the app or this site.
Qosmo Collect is a tool to help you catalog, value, and learn about trading cards, and — in Card Show Mode — to run your own table at a card show and keep your own books. Values, grade estimates, and authenticity tips are estimates and guidance for hobby use based on available public data — they are not appraisals, guarantees, authentication, or financial/investment advice. Markets change constantly; verify anything important yourself before buying, selling, or grading.
2. Your account
You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you add to it. Don't misuse the service, break the law, attempt to disrupt or overload it, or reverse-engineer it.
You need to be at least 13 years old to have a Qosmo account, or older if that's the minimum age where you live. If you're under 18, use Qosmo with a parent or guardian's involvement.
3. Purchases & subscriptions
In-app purchases are billed by Apple under Apple's terms; manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. A subscription renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel it, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — Apple doesn't refund a partial period. Any web subscription (such as Rip Club) is billed by us via Stripe under the terms shown at checkout. Rip Club and any physical products are sold separately through our website — not through the app. Physical subscriptions can be canceled anytime; cancellation stops future shipments and billing.
4. No guarantees
The service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee prices, grade outcomes, authenticity, or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on the app's estimates or guidance, or for indirect or consequential damages.
5. Authenticity & grading
Qosmo helps you check — it never certifies a card as real or fake and never promises a grade. For high-value items, use a professional authentication or grading service.
6. Card show listings
Where the listings come from. Shows marked as checked were read off the promoter's own website by a person here, on the date shown on the listing. Shows published by vendors are typed in by those vendors, are labelled that way, and are not checked by us at all. We don't take listings from card-show aggregator sites.
What we're not. Qosmo is not the promoter, organiser, host or venue of any show, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. We don't sell admission, don't rent tables, don't take a cut of anything at a show, and have no control over whether a show happens, when, where, or what it costs to get in.
What that means for you. A listing is a pointer to the promoter, not a promise from us. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for travel, fuel, flights, lodging, admission, table fees, missed sales, or time lost because a listing was wrong, out of date, incomplete or missing. Each listing tells you when we last checked it and links to the promoter's own page — that page is the authority, not this one.
Corrections. If a listing is wrong, out of date, or shouldn't be there, tell us at hello@qosmocollect.com or use "Report this listing" in the app, and we'll check it against the promoter and fix, hide or remove it. Promoters: if it's your show, that address reaches a person and we'll take your correction over anything else.
7. Card Show Mode: your table, your money
Payments. When Qosmo shows a payment code, it points at your own Venmo, Cash App or PayPal account, which you entered yourself, and the payment happens on that company's service under that company's terms — not ours. We're not a payment processor, a money transmitter, an escrow, or a marketplace, and we're not a party to any sale, purchase, trade or consignment you record. If something goes wrong in a transaction, it's between you and the other person.
Your books are yours. Sales, purchases, costs, cost basis, cash drawer, sales tax and profit figures are your own business records. We store them for you and show them back to you. Your costs, your floor prices, your holds and your margins are never shown to buyers, to other vendors, or on any public page.
Not tax, accounting or legal advice. Totals, cost basis, COGS, the sales tax you record and the Schedule C summary are bookkeeping help — nothing more. They are not tax advice, accounting advice, an audit, or a return. You are responsible for what you file, for whether and where you have to register and collect sales tax, for the rate you charge, and for remitting it. Talk to a tax professional about your own situation.
Consignment. Consignor splits, payouts and statements record what you and your consignor agreed. The agreement is between the two of you; Qosmo is not a party to it and doesn't hold, owe or pay anyone's money.
Other people's details. If you record someone else's information — a buyer's name and phone number on a want list, a consignor's contact details, a name on a hold — you're responsible for having their permission and for handling it lawfully. Don't enter anyone's personal information unless they've agreed to it, and don't use it for anything except the thing they gave it to you for.
Your public table page. If you share a table page or Table QR, the cards, prices and show details you chose to list become visible to anyone with the link. Your costs, floors, holds, buyer details and consignment terms never appear on it. You decide what to list and can stop sharing at any time.
8. Your content
Your collection data is yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store it, display it back to you, and operate the service. That's it.
Things you publish. Some things you can choose to publish to other people: a show you add to the shared directory, and a table page you share by link or QR. When you publish something, you're asking us to show it to others, which can include showing it in the app to every user and republishing the show's public facts on qosmocollect.com. For that, and only for that, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and distribute what you published, for as long as it stays published. You keep ownership of it.
What you're promising when you publish. That it's accurate as far as you know, that you have the right to publish it, and that it isn't misleading, offensive, or somebody else's private information. Don't publish a show that isn't happening, someone else's event with details you haven't checked, a duplicate to game the directory, advertising, or anything unlawful.
What we can do about it. We can hide, edit or remove anything published through Qosmo, at any time, without notice, and we can suspend or close an account that keeps breaking these rules. Anyone can report something with "Report this listing" in the app or by emailing hello@qosmocollect.com, and we aim to look at every report within one business day.
9. Copyright & reporting infringement
If you believe something on Qosmo infringes your copyright, email hello@qosmocollect.com with: the page, screen or listing in question; what it infringes and where the original can be seen; your name and contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by you, your agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you're the owner or authorised to act for them. We'll look into it and remove or disable what's necessary. We close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly.
10. Other people's names and brands
Show names, promoter names, venue names, card game names, publisher names, team and player names, and grading company names belong to their owners. We use them only to identify which show, which card, which game or which grader we're talking about. Nothing here means any of them sponsors, endorses, or is connected with Qosmo, and nothing here is a claim to their marks.
11. If something you do causes a claim against us
If what you publish, record or do through Qosmo leads to a claim, demand or loss against us — including anything you published to the directory, anything on a table page you shared, and anyone else's personal information you entered — you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.
12. Changes & termination
We may update the service or these terms; if we make material changes we'll post them here with a new effective date, and continued use means you accept the changes. You can stop using Qosmo anytime, and you can request deletion of your account and data at support@qosmocollect.com.
13. Contact & governing law
Questions: support@qosmocollect.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
